Hives 2025 [Three Stack]

Stackable, collectible, and oddly satisfying to build, each Beehive is a small tribute to the roadside boxes that once lined the way to my aunt and uncle’s place in Hāwera. Inspired by the sights of childhood road trips, these porcelain hives feel like my memory of long drives; eating lollies, arguing over the next song, booting my brothers so I got more space in the back seat. A good reminder to enjoy the journey, not just the destination and proof that growing up doesn’t mean you have to stop playing. The 2025 Hives are a time limited edition, and will only be available until Dec 31st 2025.

Materials: Handmade in slipcast porcelain and finished with a classic tin lid. Each hive is individually hand-painted - no two are the same.

Dimensions: h175 x w100 x d125mm. Approx. 0.9kg (2 tall hives, 1 short hive, plus lid)

Installation: Display as a single sculpture, or build your collection over time - each Beehive is stackable and interchangeable. Best displayed on a level surface.

Gifting: Complimentary gift wrapping and gift card available. Engraving is not available on this piece.

Note: Each Beehive is handcrafted and hand-painted, so slight variations in tone, texture, and finish are part of what makes every stack unique.
